adhesive labels from reusable barrels is a tough task
requiring a custom high pressure barrel cleaning system. This cleaning system called for a heavy-duty, multiple pump design using four stainless steel Block-style CAT PUMPS’ Model 6821 plunger pumps. This barrel cleaning system delivers 100 GPM at 3000 PSI. The barrels are automatically conveyed non-stop through the high pressure barrel cleaning system. The efficiency of this system actually eliminated an 8 hour shift while maintaining the same output of cleaned barrels. The multiple pumps also permit easy adjustment of the
cleaning system with changes in demand for cleaned
barrels.
