CAT PUMPS flushed pumps provide
extended seal life. Select C cast manifold
or K block-style manifold flushed pumps feature a ported inlet manifold that permits an
external flush liquid to circulate between the Lo-Pressure Seals and the Hi-Pressure Seals
or V-Packings. This flushed liquid provides
added lubrication when pumping low lubricity
liquids such as DI water and cooling when
pumping high temperature liquids. CAT
PUMPS is the exclusive manufacturer of
flushed pumps for DI water gas turbine inlet
fogging systems. These flushed pumps also
handle high vapor liquids and provide
containment of liquids for a safe work
environment. Either brass and stainless steel
liquid-end construction is available.
