Full Range of Certified ATEX 2
High Pressure Plunger Pumps
We are pleased to announce that Cat Pumps® now offers a full range of high pressure plunger pumps that meet the ATEX directive for pumps used in an explosive atmosphere. The ATEX directive addresses two European Union directives describing the equipment and work environment requirements for an explosive atmosphere.
Under the ATEX Directive, equipment is designated by Group, Category, and Zone. Cat Pumps high pressure plunger pumps have been certified ATEX 2 which also covers all the ATEX 3 requirements.
The high pressure plunger pump models that are certified ATEX 2 and comply with the directive for Group 2, Category 2, and Zones 1 and 21 include: 5 frame model 45 and all models in frame sizes 15, 18, 25, 28, 35, 38, 60, and 68.
