DI water is used for gas turbine inlet cooling to help boost energy output. Cat Pumps® flushed pumps are designed for this application. Cat Pumps flushed pumps feature special ported inlet manifold that permits an external flush. This flush significantly enhances seal life while providing cooling and lubrication when pumping low lubricity DI water for gas turbine inlet fogging and evaporative cooling. The flushed pumps are also ideal for pumping high temp liquids. Cat Pumps offers a complete line of flushed pumps from .5 to 60 gpm and pressure up to 7000 PSI for gas turbine inlet fogging/cooling systems and other specialty misting systems. Our flushed pumps offer continuous-duty, near maintenance free operation. All our flushed pump are available as a custom pumping system with standard electric or variable frequency drive for easy adjustment to demand.
