| What nozzle do I need? |
| CAT PUMPS offers a vaiety of nozzles for different surface treatments.
Most standard spray nozzles are listed in a chart that permits selection
based upon flow and pressure. They are marked with sizes such as 4-25
which is nozzle size and spray angle. Check the output of your pump before
selecting the nozzle. If you select too large a nozzle, you will not deliver
enough flow through it to reach your desired pressure. If you select too
small a nozzle, the additional liquid through the nozzle may over
pressure the pump and cause damage to the pump.
For injecting chemicals and spray rinsing, dual and adjustable nozzles
work well as they permit easy adjustment from low pressure to high pressure. For added aggitation in your cleaning or extending the reach of your spray, Turbo Nozzles and Power Chem Nozzles are options. See our Data Sheets section and select Accessories for additional information. |
