| For standard water applications, we offer several sizes of inlet filters with 80 mesh screens [177 microns]. For other types of liquids, such as reclaim water, increased filtration is necessary to avoid drawing abrasives and suspended particles into the pump. There are both T and Y type filters with standard 80 mesh screens to match the inlet ports of the different frame sizes of CAT PUMPS. Both clear and solid housings are available. For compact units, we offer the micro filters. If you find that your filter is clogging frequently, try installing two filters in parallel. If this does not help, a more sophisticated filtration system may be required.
