How do I remove a stuck seal case from the manifold?
Due to soap and hard water build-up, the threaded seal cases may become difficult to remove from the manifold. A special ½” drive socket tool is available for each frame size plunger pump to assist in this removal process. Exercise caution, if using a substitute tool, as you may cause damage to the seal case or pump. These sockets are available from your local supplier. Ask for PN 33004 [5 Frame Models], 33005 [7 Frame Models] 33006 [15 Frame Models] Note: The CP pumps have a press-in style seal case and this socket is not necessary.
