How to remove oil from the crankcase?
CAT PUMPS offers a convenient Oil drain Kit to permit quick and easy removal of oil from the pump crankcase. Oil Drain Kits are available for each model and are listed in each Pump Data Sheet. After draining oil, refill the crankcase with the designated amount of oil indicated on the data sheet by removing the oil cap at the top of the crankcase. After filling, verify the proper oil level by confiming it is at the dot on the bubble oil gauge, then replace oil cap and resume operation.
