CAT PUMPS® industrial, positive displacement, triplex
process pumps are designed for harsh applications and
continuous-duty performance. Our process pumps are
constructed of corrosion resistant, high strength materials
for compatibility and durability in applications like:
- reverse osmosis - desalination
- waste-water re-injection
- chemical injection
- water flooding - secondary recovery
- accumulator charging
- fire protection - misting
Special process pump models are flushed pumps. These
flushed pumps feature ported inlet manifolds that permit an
external flush liquid. This flush liquid provides cooling when
pumping high temperature liquids; added lubrication with low
lubricity liquids such as CO2 and containment of effluent liquids.
This external flush liquid significantly extends seal life and
reduces maintenance.
Standard liquid-end construction for our industrial process
pumps is 316SS or Duplex Stainless Steel. Our special chevron
V-Packings require no adjustment. Our concentric, high-density,
solid ceramic plungers are abrasion resistant and provide an
extremely durable and smooth sealing surface, adding to our exceptionally long life seal life. We stock industrial process
pumps up to 240 GPM and 10,000 PSI. Most of our process pumps are sold as custom engineered Power Units -pump systems, built to your specifications with base, drive and systems accessories. They
are available with short lead times to help you meet installation deadlines.
