Pressure Regulating Unloader is one of the most essential system accessories. It sets system pressure, protects the pump from over pressure and unloads pressure when the flow is not needed, but the system is still running in single pump and gun installations. It is available in brass or stainless steel up to 52 GPM and up to 5700 PSI..

Pressure Regulator is also an essential system accessory that pump sets and maintains system pressure, protects the pump from overpressure and unloads pressure when the flow is not needed, but the system is running in multiple pump, gun or nozzle installations. Full pressure is maintained while nozzles and/or guns are intermittently used. It is available in brass or stainless steel up to 70 GPM and up to 5000 PSI.

Relief Valves are secondary protection devices and are highly recommended in systems above 2000 PSI. The relief valve is typically set 200 PSI above system pressure to assure pump protection should the primary valve fail. With regular maintenance this is unlikely, however, debris in the liquid, excessive temperatures, unusual pressure spikes can result in unexpected failures and the secondary valve can spare you from high repair costs. Most unloader models also function as a relief valve, by simply removing the check valve. Relief valves are available with pressure ratings up to 7200 PSI. There are also ultra compact Pop-Off Valves with ratings up to 4000 PSI.

Thermo Valves are special safety valves installed in the by-pass line of the primary unloader valve to bleed-off over heated liquid to prevent premature pump seal deterioration and failure. They are available in brass or RTP [high strength, heat resistant composite] with 130F, 145F and 180F sensors and 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" fittings.

Pressure Gauge is one of the essential accessories in a high pressure system. It is your guide for setting proper system pressure and your monitor for how your system is working. With low or fluctuating pressure readings, you are warned that system maintenance may be needed. It is one of the least expensive preventative maintenance accessories. They are available in 1500 PSI, 3000 PSI, 6000 PSI and 15,000 PSI models with stainless steel case or all stainless steel construction

Accumulators [Surge Suppressors] [Pulsation Dampeners] are installed in the discharge line of your high pressure pumping system as close to the head of the pump as possible. They are designed to reduce system vibration, pulsing common in all triplex pumps and the effects of pressure spikes from discharge line valves. These over pressure protection valves can be called pulsation dampeners, accumulators, surge suppressors or Prrrrr-O-Lators. Our pulsation dampeners are a bladder style and pre-charged with Nitrogen. When liquid is stopped, generally with a quick-acting valve, a hydraulic surge is created within the system. Pressures spikes can be generated to several times the normal system pressure and cause severe damage to the pump and other components in the system. Pulsation dampeners are necessary to absorb these pressure spikes. They also minimize pulsation and the resulting wear to the pump and system. They are available in mild steel or 31SS with optional bladder materials to be compatible with the application. The correct pre-charge is essential for optimum dampening and bladder life.

Captive Acceleration Tubes [C.A.T.] is used at the inlet of your pump. It is a specially engineered accessory designed to stabilize inlet pressure to the pump in systems with long feed lines or booster pumps. It stores the energy of the liquid and releases it when required to ensure the cylinders are filled at the beginning of each stroke. The C.A.T. virtually eliminates cavitation and significantly reduces hydraulic spikes. With the C.A.T. installed at the pump inlet, a smooth pressure trace will be evident. The C.A.T. will not function with a restricted inlet and is not intended to prevent starvation. It is still necessary to deliver adequate liquid to the pump inlet.

Inlet Filters are essential to optimum pump performance. CAT PUMPS are liquid pumps. They do not handle harsh abrasives, slurries or large particles. Our standard inlet filters fit 1/2" to 2" lines for systems up to 150 GPM. They use 80 mesh 304SS screens to filter out debris found in typical water supplies. Additional special filtration is recommended for removing chemical additives or fine abrasives. Generally for reclaim systems additional filtration down to 5-10 micron is recommended.

Inlet Pressure Regulator is an essential inlet accessory when city water supply or by-pass line pressure exceeds the pump inlet pressure rating. Piston pumps are rated for a maximum 40 PSI and standard plunger pumps are 60-70 PSI. Compact, preset inlet pressure regulator models up to 10 GPM and adjustable industrial models up to 70 GPM are available.

Hoses and Fittings to connect the system accessories to the pump are available in a variety of sizes. Steel and 316SS flexible inlet, low pressure hoses and flexible discharge high pressure hoses match each pump inlet size. Tees, reducer bushing, elbows, cross and nipples in steel, brass or 316SS make the complete connection of accessories compact and convenient.

MAG-JET Jetting Valve - (Patented) mounts directly into an inlet valve plug on most plunger pump models. The patented MAG-JET valve holds the inlet valve open and allows the flow to continue on through to the discharge eliminating any dry chambers and extreme vacuum conditions. An easy turn of the handle switches the pump from jetting to high pressure. Currently there are MAG-JET valves to match several pump models including 3CP, 5CP, 7CP, 66DX, 45-60 and 660,1050 and 3560.

Guns [trigger] and Lances [wands] are used in a variety of portable and stationary cleaning systems. Standard guns with front inlet hose connection or rear handle inlet connection or horizontal guns are available to suite the users preference. Both single and double lances are available in 24"-48" lengths with zinc coating or 304SS construction for standard high pressure cleaning or alternate chemical injection.

Wet Sandblasters are environmentally friendly cleaning tools. They do not generate dust or leave waste for clean up. They are designed with a tungsten carbide mixing nozzle and high efficiency venturi action to blend special sandblasting sand and water to remove paint or rust... OR... water and baking soda for heavy-duty surface cleaning. Industrial models up to 5500 PSI or ultra compact models up to 3500 PSI unit. They are also ideal for spray seeding applications.

Chemical Injectors allow added cleaning solutions to be injected into the high pressure line. On the piston pumps this is done with the addition of the Pulse Pump and a specially ported discharge manifold. The chemical draw is activated by the pulse from the discharge chamber of the pump and enters the discharge flow at full discharge pressure. In the plunger pumps, there are two options. The standard chemical injector is installed in the discharge line [often directly onto the pressure unloader discharge port]. At low pressure, chemical is siphoned into the discharge line. This chemical injector must be used with either a adjustable high-low nozzle or a dual lance that allows the installation of low and high pressure nozzles. The other alternative is the Power Chem Nozzle. This also installs in the discharge line, but at the end of a high pressure lance. It will inject chemical at high pressure up to 5000 PSI and spray with significant impact up to 35 feet.

Pulse Pumps-High-Pressure Injection Pumps A pulse pump is a high-pressure chemical injection device that is mounted onto a specially ported discharge manifold [pulse pump manifold]. The pulse pump injects the chemical downstream into the discharge line of the primary pump, eliminating chemical exposure to the primary pump. The pulse pump permits high-pressure chemical injection up to 1000 PSI. A special laminated PTFE/NBR diaphragm contains the chemical within the pulse pump. The pulse in the cylinder of the primary pump activates the diaphragm to dispense chemical. A metering valve controls the chemical ratio injected downstream. This high-pressure injection option is available on several piston pump models including 335, 435, 1015 and 2525 [the 5 in the part number indicates the specially ported pulse pump manifold has been installed on the pump]. There are two sizes of pulse pumps [chemical injector]. [select 6300 for 4 FR and 10 FR pumps] [select 6305 for 25 FR pumps].

Throttle Controller is a pressure activated valve that reduces engine speed when the flow is not being used, but the system is running. It reduces gas consumption and engine wear.

Quick Start Valve is designed to reduce discharge line pressure on the pump at start-up, thereby, reducing start up power requirements. It is most often used with gas engine drive, but can be used with electric motor also.

Nozzles are used in thousands of high pressure applications. The Vari-Nozzle is a high/low nozzle for all-purpose cleaning up to 3500 PSI. This nozzle easily mounts at the lance end and with a push/pull adjusts from low to high pressure and a twist from 0 to 60 degree angle. The Turbo Nozzle has a heavy-duty spinning/blasting action for systems up to 5000 PSI. It also mounts quickly to the end of a lance and delivers a powerful 0 to 25 spray. The Power-Chem Nozzle is both a high pressure injector and a long distance sprayer. It will siphon chemical and deliver it at high pressure. It will also deliver a concentrated spray up to 35 feet. Both the Change Over Nozzle and the Adjustable Nozzle offer an affordable option for low and high pressure cleaning action and are used with the down stream, low-pressure chemical injector.

Auto Shut-Off Assembly is designed to prevent overheating of the pump. It uses dual pressure switches and a mechanical relay to automatically shut off a system when the trigger gun is released. 120V, 2HP and 220V, 5HP systems are available.

Oil Drain Assembly attaches to the same port as the oil drain plug on the pump rear cover. There are several models with different length hoses to fit the various size pumps. This oil drain assembly extends out beyond your pump and drive for easy access when changing oil.
